Race Technology's AP22 G-Meter
DeltaDash includes support for Race Technology's AP22 G-Meter. By using a spare serial port on the PC, accurate lateral and longitudinal acceleration may be measured alongside parameters from the ECU.
Configuration
Once the AP22 is plugged into a serial port on your PC, DeltaDash may be configured from the external sensor options sub menu. Simply select the correct serial port and tick the checkbox to enable use of the AP22.
The data channels relating to the AP22 will then appear under the external sensors tab of 'Live ECU data capture'.
- Note that in order to connect the AP22 to DeltaDash, a serial port must be available. If there are no free serial ports on your laptop, then you must connect the AP22 via a USB to serial interface available from most PC suppliers.
- In order to support logging of data via its serial port, the AP22 must be configured to output data in real time. Configuration of this is described in the AP22 documentation.
- Support for the AP22 has been recently added. The latest version of DeltaDash should be downloaded in order to use this feature.
